growth and optimisation\nDevelop and implement initiatives to grow online revenue across Mayo Hardware’s transactional websites.\n\nMonitor the customer journey and identifyopportunities to improve conversion rates, average order valueand cart completion.\n\nManage online promotions, discount codes, product bundles, free-gift offers, cross-sells and upsells.\n\nRecommend and implement improvements to website navigation, product discovery, merchandisingand checkout.\n\nSupport promotional campaigns, product launchesand seasonal sales activity.\n\nMonitor product, category and campaign performance and recommend actions based on results.\n\nConduct regular competitor and e-commerce best-practice reviews.\n\nDevelop and maintainan e-commerce optimisation roadmap, prioritised by commercial impact.\n\nWebsite portfolio management\nManage the day-to-day operation of 21 WordPress websites, currently inclusive ofsevene-commerce and 14 brand-focused siteswith the potential to expand the portfolio of e-commerce websites in the future.\n\nUpdate website content, landing pages, banners, product information, pricing, promotionsand campaign assets.\n\nBuild and update pages using existing WordPress themes and page builders.\n\nManage WooCommerce product catalogues, categories, attributes, variations, couponsand promotional configurations.\n\nCoordinate website enhancements, integrations and technical changes with external developers and internal stakeholders.\n\nConduct regular website checks to identifybroken links, display issues, outdated contentand functionality problems.\n\nEnsure websites are responsive, accessible, accurateand consistent with brand guidelines.\n\nMaintain appropriate websitebackups, plugin updatesand security practices in coordination with the development agency.\n\nDocument website processes, configurations, integrationsand recurring maintenance requirements.\n\nAnalytics, reportingand tracking\nManage and maintain GA4 and Google Search Console across the website portfolio.\n\nDevelop dashboards and regular reports covering traffic, revenue, conversion rate, average order value, acquisition channelsand customer behaviour.\n\nAnalyse performance and translate the findings into clear, commercially focused recommendations.\n\nEnsure key e-commerce events and conversions are tracked accurately.\n\nInvestigate discrepancies between WooCommerce, GA4 and other reporting platforms.\n\nMonitor website indexing, search visibility, crawl errorsand technical SEO issues.\n\nWork with developers to implement and verify tracking requirements.\n\nAssist with Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and other advertising or remarketing tags where required.\n\nMaintain consistent naming conventions and measurement standards across websites and campaigns.\n\nSEO/AEO/GEOand website performance\nImplement on-page SEO, AEOand GEOimprovements, including page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, image optimisationand structured content.\n\nUse Google Search Console and other available tools to identifyopportunities to improve organic traffic.\n\nSupport content development designed to improve search visibility, answer-engine optimisationand customer engagement.\n\nMonitor website speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile performanceand other technical performance indicators.\n\nCoordinate technical SEO, AEO and GEOand performance improvements with external developers.\n\nEnsure redirects, URLs and website migrations are managed correctly.\n\nStakeholder and agency coordination\nWork closely with the Marketing Communications teamto prioritise website and e-commerce activity.\n\nCollaborate with customer service,IT,product, salesand marketing team members to deliver accurateand timelywebsite updates.\n\nBrief graphic designers on website creative requirements and ensure assets are implemented correctly.\n\nManage website support requests and follow up with external developers until issues are resolved.\n\nCommunicate progress, risks, prioritiesand results clearly to stakeholders.\n\nMaintain an organised workflow for website requests, projectsand approvals.\n\nQualifications\nEssential skills and experience\nDemonstrated experience managing e-commerce websites and delivering measurable online growth.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.\n\nStrong working knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console.\n\nExperience managing product catalogues, landing pages, online promotionsand website content.\n\nAbility to analyse e-commerce data and turn insights into practical actions.\n\nUnderstanding of conversion-rate optimisation and e-commerce customer journeys.\n\nWorking knowledge of on-page and technical SEO.\n\nExperience identifying, troubleshootingand coordinating the resolution of website issues.\n\nHigh attention to detail, particularly when managing product, pricingand promotional information.\n\nStrong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple websites and competing priorities.\n\nStrong written and spoken English.\n\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with an Australian-based team.\n\nAvailability for regular working-hour overlap with the Sydney team.\n\nDesirable skills and experience\nExperience with Google Tag Manager.\n\nExperience implementing or troubleshooting Meta Pixel and conversion tracking.\n\nFamiliarity with Meta advertising and campaign measurement.\n\nExperience working with external development agencies.\n\nExperience with product feeds, Google Merchant Centeror shopping integrations.\n\nFamiliarity with email marketing platforms and e-commerce automation.\n\nBasic HTML and CSS knowledge.\n\nExperience with tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity.\n\nExperience managing a portfolio of websites or multiple brands.\n\nExperience working with Australian retail, consumer productsor hardware brands.\n\nPersonal
