About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Director / Group Financial Controllerwho can take ownership of the day-to-day finance functionwith a sharp focus on compliance and accuracy. This is a hands-on role, best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can ensure that all filings, records, and reporting are completed on time and done right.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day finance operations: bookkeeping, reconciliations, monthly closes, reporting.
Manage U.S. tax compliance and regulatory filings; maintainfiling calendars to ensure deadlines are met.
Work with external accountants, auditors, and advisors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain Delaware corporate records, filings, and franchise tax requirements.
Oversee light administration of U.K. entity and offshore foundation (minimal activity).
Implement scalable systems and processes to support rapid growth.
Qualifications
Candidate Profile
Strong background in accounting, audit, or financial control.
Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, and filings.
Tech-savvy and comfortable with financial systems/tools.
Startup/scale-up experience preferred; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean environment.
Familiarity with crypto accounting (or willingness to learn).
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
