This role partners across HR and the business to develop reporting and analytics, improve HR technology, support workforce and compensation analysis, and strengthen data accuracy and efficiency.\nThe ideal candidate moves comfortably between technical analysis and practical problem-solving-someone who can take a business question or operational challenge, determine what the data tells us, and translate findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain recurring and ad hoc workforce reporting and dashboards across headcount, turnover, retention, labor, compensation, recruiting, and other key people metrics.\nAnalyze workforce and HR data to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into actionable insights.\nPartner with HR and business leaders to understand reporting and analytical needs and develop analyses that support business decisions.\nSupport workforce planning and labor analysis, including headcount modeling, payroll and labor trends, organizational changes, and staffing needs.\nSupport compensation analysis, including market benchmarking, pay modeling, program analysis, and other compensation initiatives.\nSupport ongoing optimization of HR systems, including workflow enhancements, reporting capabilities, system configuration, testing, and data integrity.\nIdentify opportunities to automate, simplify, or improve manual reporting and operational processes through existing technology.\nTroubleshoot system and data issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.\nPerform regular data audits, reconciliations, and validation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of workforce information.\nSupport cross-functional HR initiatives requiring analytical, systems, or technical expertise.\nSynthesize complex data and findings into clear, concise presentations and actionable recommendations for HR and senior leadership.\nQualifications\nTechnical Skills\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience manipulating, analyzing, and validating large datasets.\nExperience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations; Power BI or similar business intelligence tools strongly preferred.\nExperience working within HRIS/HCM platforms and extracting, validating, and analyzing HR data; UKG experience is a plus.\nFamiliarity with HR technology, system workflows, integrations, configuration, and testing.\nExperience with data reconciliation, quality assurance, and governance.\nFamiliarity with SQL, automation tools, or other analytical technologies is a plus.\nAnalytical & Strategic Skills\nAbility to synthesize complex workforce and business data into actionable insights and recommendations.\nStrong analytical aptitude with demonstrated ability to identify trends, investigate anomalies, and determine root causes.\nAbility to move from business question → analysis → insight → recommendation rather than simply producing reports.\nStrong problem-solving skills and comfort working through problems where requirements or solutions may not initially be well defined.\nAbility to connect workforce metrics to broader business and financial outcomes.\nDemonstrated ability to create clear, executive-ready analyses, dashboards, and presentations.\nSoft Skills\nHighly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.\nNaturally curious with a strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn, test, and experiment with new tools.\nStrong communicator with the ability to translate technical or analytical findings into practical business language.\nSelf-starter with strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.\nCollaborative mindset with the ability to partner effectively across HR, Finance, Operations, and other business functions.\nComfortable balancing recurring responsibilities with ad hoc analysis and evolving business priorities.\nRequired Experience, Education & Certifications:\nBachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nThree to five years of experience in HR analytics, people analytics, HRIS, workforce analytics, compensation, business analytics, or a related analytical role.\nDemonstrated experience working with large datasets and translating analysis into business insights.\nAdvanced Excel proficiency required;
