Data Preparation & Modeling\no Connect to data sources and perform transformations using Power Query.\no Design and implement optimized data models following best practices.\n2. Report Development\no Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.\no Implement advanced DAX measures for accurate calculations.\n3. Performance Optimization\no Apply techniques to reduce query load and improve report responsiveness.\no Validate data accuracy and consistency across reports.\n4. Testing & Deployment\no Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).\no Deploy reports using Power BI Service and manager access/security.\n5. Documentation & Handoff\no Provide detailed documentation of measures, data sources, and assumptions.\no Train end-users on report navigation and interpretation.\nDeliverables:\n· Fully functional Power BI dashboards aligned with business requirements.\n· Documentation package (data model, DAX measures, assumptions).\n· Performance-optimized reports ready for production deployment.\nTimeline: TBD\nSuccess Criteria:\n· Reports meet defined KPIs and business requirements.\n· Dashboards are intuitive, performant, and scalable.\n· Stakeholder satisfaction confirmed through UAT.\nCustom Code Policy Custom code (DAX, Power Query M, SQL, Python/R) is permitted only if:\n· Full visibility is provided (all scripts and logic documented and accessible).\n· Code is stored within the Power BI solution (no external scripts).\n· Documentation includes purpose, assumptions, and maintenance notes.\n· No unsupported or proprietary code that limits future scalability.\nQualifications\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n· Advanced Power BI expertise: 3-8 years, Proven work experience building and publishing interactive dashboards.\n· Strong visual design sensibility 3-8 years, Understanding of data visualization best practices and UX principles, with the ability to design clean, intuitive Power BI reports that reduce cognitive load and highlight actionable insights.
