You understand owner, action, deliverable,\ndependency, deadline, risk, issue and approval.\n07 Strong systems literacy\nMicrosoft 365, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Xero,\nCRM, project management platforms and cloud document\nsystems.\n09 Discretion and information security\nAccess controls, confidentiality, secure document handling,\nphishing and social engineering awareness, sound\npassword practice and need-to-know principles.\nTHE FIRST 90 DAYS\nThese are not aspirational. They are the floor for this\nappointment.\n02 Exceptional organisational capability\nMultiple concurrent workstreams, people, deadlines,\ninvoices, reviews and deliverables. Prioritisation, attention\nto detail and structured record keeping.\n04 Xero and finance administration\nPrior Xero experience, or strong comparable accounting\nsystem experience and the ability to become proficient\nquickly. Invoices, payable and receivable, invoice\nmatching, payment status and basic reconciliation. Formal\naccounting qualifications are not required.\n06 External stakeholder coordination\nComfortable dealing with senior external professionals:\ncoordinating SMEs, chasing actions, confirming availability,\nmanaging requests and escalating appropriately.\n08 AI productivity\nComfortable using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or\nMicrosoft Copilot for drafting, summarisation, action\nextraction, analysis, reporting and workflow improvement.\n10 Proactive ownership\nNon-negotiable.
