Forecast of product usage from product sales history and future opportunities.\n2. Input data into the system\n3. Place orders with import and domestic suppliers.\n4. Arrange and track shipments\n5. Ensure customs, tax and duty compliance\n6. Negotiate delivery of needed items so the company's operations go uninterrupted.\n7. Constantly look for ways to cut costs of product.\n8. Work well as a member of the team and communicate with team members about the progress on project tasks.\n9. Nurture relationships with new and existing suppliers to get the best prices without sacrificing quality or delivery times.\n10. Suggest improvements including efficiencies, procuring, and maintaining stock levels.\n11. Negotiate with shipping agents for better terms e.g., credit limits, delivery terms etc.\n12. Contribute to maintaining and growing gross profit by strategic procurement and decision making.\n13. Proactive involvement with the sales team and customer services e.g., to provide timely responses, source products appropriately in a systematic way.\n14. Work closely with other internal operational areas for better stock rotation, improved stockholding, and target overstocks.\n15. Carry out supplier approval and monitoring measures and ensure suppliers have appropriate and necessary accreditation.\nOperational Tasks:\n1. Prepare product forecasts\n2. Prepare production forecasts\n3. Monitor stock levels and delivery dates\n4. Source products\n5. Analyse product costing and compare options\n6. Add and amend products and settings\n7. Update the system with costs and taxes\n8. Negotiate costs and terms with suppliers\n9. Carry out supplier reviews\n10. Place purchase orders to replenish stock for products\n11. Arrange and check artworks\n12. Manage product changes\n13. Arrange reviews of product categories\n14. Update systems with supply chain information\n15. Update supplier and product records in Orderwise\n16. Organise and file documents\n17. Arrange transportation\n18. Liaise with shipping agents\n19. Review shipping documents\n20. Handle customs clearance procedures\n21. Track shipments\n22. Run reports as required\n23. Respond to purchase order issues\n24. Prepare and monitor Stock Agreements\n25. Gather market knowledge and following pricing trends\n26.
