At our core we are People People, thoughtfully trained to support clients, fellow team members and residents alike - always learning forward to create a positive living experience.\nAbout this role:\nThe Community Manager, under the supervision of the Regional Manager, is responsible for all operational aspects of an income-producing property. This includes personnel management, leasing oversight, community maintenance, compliance with State and federal laws, fiscal responsibility, marketing, and resident relations.\nHourly pay range:\n$31.00 - $33.00 DOE\nWhat you’ll do - Includes but are not limited to:\nAdministrative\nDevelop a cohesive on-site team that reflects the organization's professionalism and quality.\nConduct regular inspections of common areas, units, and grounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with standards.\nEnforce move-in/move-out protocols, including comprehensive inspections.\nEnsure timely submission of payroll and maintain accurate records.\nFinancial Management\nOversee rent collection and manage delinquent accounts, adhering to legal requirements under State landlord-tenant laws.\nComplete daily bank deposits and maintain compliance with accounting procedures.\nMonitor expenses, prepare budgets, and recommend cost-effective improvements to property operations.\nMarketing and Leasing\nPromote available units through approved advertising platforms and in-person showings.\nMaintain accurate leasing records and ensure all agreements comply with Fair Housing regulations.\nAnalyze market trends to adjust pricing and marketing strategies as needed.\nSupport resident retention efforts through timely renewals and community engagement activities.\nLeadership\nHire, train, and evaluate on-site staff while fostering a supportive work environment.\nProvide clear guidance and tools for the team to excel in their roles.\nAddress and resolve employee and operational concerns promptly and professionally.\nResident and Community Relations\nRespond to resident concerns with professionalism, empathy, and adherence to Fair Housing laws.\nEnsure all resident service requests are resolved within 24-48 hours, or as promptly as possible if delays occur.\nMaintain a safe, well-maintained community and uphold resident satisfaction.\nCompliance\nEnsure adherence to applicable State laws, including Fair Housing, ADA, and safety standards.\nRegularly review and update policies and procedures to reflect legal and operational requirements.\nQualifications and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree or related coursework is preferred.\nMinimum of two years of property management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and property management software.\nStrong problem-solving, leadership, and customer service skills.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and neutrality in all interactions.\nKnowledge of State landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing policies, and basic accounting principles.\nWho you are:\nFocused with high attention to detail\nCurious and proactive\nGrowth-oriented and well-organized\nDisciplined and self sufficient\nA strong communicator\nTech savvy\nWhat’s in it for you:\nWe believe people do their best work when they’re supported-personally, professionally, and beyond.
