The ideal candidate should have strong experience with AWS compute, storage, container, streaming, and big data services, including EC2, EKS, EFS, MSK, EMR, Glue, and related AWS offerings.\nThe engineer will be responsible for day-to-day cloud operations, incident management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring platform reliability and availability.\nKey Responsibilities\nAWS Infrastructure Management\nProvision, configure, manage, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure.\nMonitor and maintain EC2 instances, Auto Scaling Groups, Load Balancers, and VPC networking components.\nPerform root cause analysis for infrastructure and application-related issues.\nSupport high availability and disaster recovery configurations.\nContainer & Kubernetes Administration\nManage and support Amazon EKS clusters.\nDeploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized workloads.\nMonitor cluster health and optimize resource utilization.\nStorage & File Services\nAdminister Amazon EFS and other AWS storage services.\nTroubleshoot performance and connectivity issues.\nImplement backup and recovery procedures.\nData Engineering & Big Data Services\nSupport and manage Amazon EMR clusters for big data workloads.\nMonitor Spark, Hadoop, and EMR job execution.\nManage AWS Glue jobs, Crawlers, Data Catalogs, and ETL workflows.\nTroubleshoot data processing failures and performance bottlenecks.\nStreaming & Messaging Services\nSupport Amazon MSK (Managed Kafka) environments.\nMonitor Kafka brokers, topics, consumer groups, and replication health.\nTroubleshoot connectivity, throughput, and latency issues.\nMonitoring & Operations\nConfigure and manage CloudWatch metrics, dashboards, and alarms.\nSupport incident, problem, and change management processes.\nPerform log analysis using CloudWatch Logs and other monitoring tools.\nParticipate in on-call rotations and production support activities.\nRequired Skills\nAWS Services \nLinux Administration\nKubernetes Fundamentals\nDocker Containers\nKafka Basics\nNetworking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancing)\nShell Scripting (Bash) or Python\nMonitoring and Troubleshooting
