This role is equally balanced between technical depth and customer focus, and is ideal for a PM who built credibility in another discipline - such as engineering, finance, DevOps, product marketing, sales engineering, or TAM - before moving into product management.\nYou are AI-native in how you work. You use coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) as part of your everyday practice - translating your own requirements into working prototypes, accelerating discovery cycles, and proving out ideas before engineering invests. You continually refine your own patterns and tools for using AI to do PM work better.\nYou will operate in an enterprise, direct sales environment, working closely with engineering, experience design, sales, marketing, and customer teams. Success in this role requires strong product judgment, technical fluency, and an exceptional ability to gather and synthesize market intelligence from both customers and non-customer potential users.\nThis role is ideal for a PM who is uncomfortable shipping features without understanding whether and why customers will use them.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProduct Strategy & Market Discovery\nOwn the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for a core CloudZero product area\n\nIdentify high-impact problems at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, cost, usage, and business value\n\nActively collect market intelligence from:\nExisting enterprise customers\n\nProspects and churned accounts\n\nIndustry practitioners (FinOps, DevOps, Finance, Engineering)\n\nAnalysts, communities, events, and internal subject-matter experts\n\nTranslate market signals into clear product hypotheses, define what success or failure looks like, and actively revisit decisions based on real-world usage and feedback\n\nDefine and track success metrics (OKRs, KPIs) tied to customer value and revenue impact\n\nExecution & Delivery\nLead full-stack product development from discovery through delivery and iteration\n\nWrite clear, actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria\n\nBuild interactive prototypes from your own requirements using coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to validate intent and gather feedback before engineering commits\n\nPartner closely with engineering to make sound technical and architectural tradeoffs\n\nCollaborate deeply with our experience design team to deliver intuitive, scalable, and trustworthy UI experiences\n\nShip iteratively with a strong bias toward learning and post-launch iteration, including revisiting, refining, or deprecating features based on adoption and customer impact\n\nMake informed tradeoffs and ship under time pressure, balancing short-term GTM needs with long-term product quality and platform health\n\nEnterprise Customer & Go-to-Market Enablement\nActively support pre-sales activities, including enterprise demos, customer calls, roadmap discussions, and RFP responses\n\nPartner with sales engineering and product marketing to shape positioning, messaging, and enablement materials\n\nEngage directly with customers post-sale to validate solutions, gather feedback, and drive adoption\n\nServe as a subject-matter expert for strategic accounts and internal stakeholders\n\nCross-Functional Leadership\nAct as the connective tissue between engineering, design, sales, marketing, post-sales and customer success teams\n\nClearly communicate priorities, decisions, and tradeoffs across technical and non-technical audiences\n\nInfluence without authority and align teams around shared outcomes\n\nMentor junior PMs or cross-functional partners when appropriate\n\nRequired Experience & Qualifications\n3-4+ years of experience as a Product Manager on a B2B SaaS product\n\nProven expertise in another discipline prior to product management, such as:\nEngineering\n\nProduct Marketing\n\nSales Engineering\n\nTechnical Account Management (TAM)\n\nFinance, DevOps, or Cloud Operations\n\nExperience managing products in data-intensive domains, including:\nAnalytics or business intelligence platforms\n\nAI/ML-enabled products\n\nData, observability, or cloud infrastructure tooling\n\nExperience with UI-heavy products, such as dashboards, IDEs, developer tools, or visualization-rich applications\n\nFull-stack product management experience, supporting:\nPre-sales (enterprise demos, customer calls, roadmap conversations)\n\nPost-sales (customer feedback, adoption, retention, and expansion)\n\nWorking fluency with AI coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar) - able to translate your own requirements into a working feature prototype without engineering assistance\n\nExcellent prioritization skills and the ability to communicate rationale, tradeoffs, and impact\n\nStrong ability to translate complex technical and financial concepts into clear customer-facing experiences\n\nDemonstrated ability to independently own a product area and ship meaningful outcomes\n\nNice-to-Have / Preferred Qualifications\nExperience in FinOps, Finance, DevOps, or cloud cost management\n\nFamiliarity with modern cloud data stacks (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure billing data, data warehouses, ETL/ELT)\n\nExperience working with platform or infrastructure teams\n\nComfort analyzing product usage data and telemetry; ability to write basic SQL queries and operate DevOps / SRE tooling is a plus\n\nExperience working with enterprise or highly technical customers\n\nExperience shaping pricing, packaging, or value metrics in a SaaS product\n\nBackground in SaaS, cloud, or developer-focused product environments\n\nExperience working on a team that practices agentic / AI-native development end-to-end\n\nExperience building reusable harnesses, skills, or agent patterns for product management work (PRD drafting, research synthesis, prototype scaffolding, etc.)\n\nSkills & Attributes That Signal Success at CloudZero\nBalanced technical and customer orientation -equally effective with engineers, finance leaders, and enterprise customers\n\nStrong bias toward outcomes and learning over output;
