DZ Driver

CLS Catering Services is a joint venture of Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. and LSG Sky Chefs, the world’s largest airline caterer and provider of integrated service solutions. CLS operates from both Toronto and Vancouver airports and has been an industry leader in Canada for over 20 years.

Responsibilities:

• Receive confirmed meal checks and release notification prior to removing items from the refrigerators for deliver.
• Deliver company products and equipment to and from warehouse, cargo facilities, aircraft or other locations as required using hi-lift vehicles.
• Load and offload carts, trollies, equipment and supplies onto and off aircrafts as per flight specifications.
• Place delivered items into correct cabins and belly stowage locations.
• Guide drivers into and out of aircraft galley door and belly locations as required.
• Monitor aircraft registration, arrival and departure times to prioritize work assignments.
• Complete all driver reports and associated forms on a daily basis.
• Complete daily vehicle safety inspections. Report any defects on hi-lift vehicles to the Operations Supervisor.
• Perform bagging and storing of wet ice cubes.
• Refuel company vehicles as required
• Perform all tasks in a safe and hygienic manner. Maintain regular housekeeping for all vehicles.

Wage Rate: $19.00 per hour, 0-32 hours/week

Reporting to: Operations Supervisor

Schedule: Rotational Monday- Sunday, flexible shift times

Unionized: After 90 working shifts

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of practical experience
• Valid DZ license
• Holds a valid air brake certificate
• Clean driving abstract
• Meet all MoT requirements and airport regulations
• Must be reliable, professional and presentable
