You will own significant parts of the Azure and Kubernetes estate end to end, lead technical initiatives across teams, and raise the engineering bar for the team.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n Platform & InfrastructureDesign, operate and evolve the Azure and AKS foundation: networking, ingress/Gateway API (Istio), WAF, DNS, certificates and patching.\nRun GitOps delivery with Argo CD and maintain the CI runner estate.\nBuild and maintain Terraform modules, automated testing and validation, and self-service environment provisioning.\nReliability & Observability\nOwn logging, metrics and alerting, reduce alert noise and forecast capacity.\nLead infrastructure incident response and blameless postmortems.\nTake part in the on-call rotation.\nData & Shared Services\nRun managed databases and storage with robust backup/restore, disaster recovery and retention, including migrations and major version upgrades.\nOperate shared middleware such as secret management and job scheduling.\nRun internal engineering and AI services (LLM gateway, review and test-analysis tooling, ephemeral environments), defining contracts and supporting adoption.\nSecurity, Cost & Leadership\nImplement platform security controls and produce audit evidence.\nDrive cloud cost optimisation.\nLead cross-team technical initiatives, write design proposals and mentor engineers.\nWhat You'll Need\n Must Have5+ years in SRE, platform or cloud infrastructure engineering, with production ownership of business-critical SaaS systems.\nDeep hands-on experience with Azure (networking, identity/RBAC, managed services) in production.\nDeep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ideally AKS, in production.\nStrong Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform, plus GitOps (Argo CD or similar) and CI/CD pipelines.\nSolid observability practice (Prometheus/Grafana, Elastic/Kibana or similar) and a track record of reducing alert noise and leading incidents.\nExperience operating managed databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), including backup and DR.\nStrong scripting in Python, Go or Bash.\nExperience implementing security controls in a regulated or audited environment (ISO 27001, SOC 2; GxP a plus).\nClear written English, sound judgement on trade-offs, and the ability to lead work across teams.\nNice to Have\nService mesh experience (Istio, Gateway API).\nTemporal, Vault/External Secrets, KEDA or Trino.\nExperience running LLM/AI platforms.\nFinOps experience.\nLife sciences or clinical-trial industry background.\nWhat We Offer\nWhat We Offer - BelgiumHealth Insurance through Alan (100% hospitalisation cover, 80% ambulatory and dental)\nMobility Budget for eco-transport, housing, or car allowance (flexible 3-pillar system)\nGroup Insurance Plan with 6-12% employer pension contribution based on seniority\nMeal Vouchers (€8/day) and Eco Vouchers for sustainable purchases\nA hub-based hybrid model that blends flexibility with purpose - connecting teams through collaboration, learning, and a vibrant social culture.\n Equal Opportunities & GDPR NoticeCluePoints is an equal opportunities employer.
