That's why we built Clutch's financial services offering, and we're hiring a Senior Data Scientist to help shape what it becomes.\nYour mission is to bring a financing-first lens to the entire buyer journey. That means helping customers understand what they can afford earlier, feel confident in their choices, and move from browsing to buying with fewer surprises.\nThis role starts analysis-heavy. Your first priority will be building a deep understanding of how customers engage with financing today: where they start, where they get stuck, and what helps them move forward. From there, you'll build the models, tools, and experiments that shape how customers experience financing at Clutch, from pre-qualification through purchase.\nThis is a rare chance to join early and help define how one of Canada's fastest-growing auto retailers approaches financing. You'll sit on Clutch's data team and work closely with our financial services, product, marketing, and engineering teams, and your work will be visible, measurable, and directly tied to both the customer experience and the business.\nWhat you'll do:\nHelp define what Cleo becomes.
