As our Atlanta operation continues to grow, we are expanding our field team and looking for skilled Controls Field Technicians who enjoy solving problems, working hands-on with automation systems, and supporting complex projects in the field.\nRole Overview: The Controls Field Technician supports the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of industrial control systems across customer sites and CLX project locations.\n This is a leveled role (Controls Field Technician I - III). Your experience, technical skillset, and interview performance will determine the level at which an offer may be extended.\nCandidates may be considered for:\nControls Field Technician I - Technicians building foundational experience in controls systems and electrical troubleshooting.\nControls Field Technician II - Experienced technicians capable of independently troubleshooting systems and supporting project execution.\nControls Field Technician III - Senior technicians who lead field troubleshooting, support PLC programming, and help guide junior technicians during project work. This role is ideal for technicians with backgrounds in:\nIndustrial electrical work\nControls systems installation\nAutomation troubleshooting\nAirport or large facility maintenance environments\nWhat You’ll Do:\nRead and interpret electrical schematics and control system documentation\nTroubleshoot electrical and control system issues in field environments\nSupport installation and startup of automation and controls equipment\nPerform diagnostics and system testing on control components\nAssist with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming adjustments\nBuild or modify control panels based on electrical prints when required\nIdentify system issues and implement corrective solutions\nWork closely with Integration Engineers and project teams to complete system integrations\nCommunicate clearly with customers and internal teams when resolving issues\nMaintain safety standards including PPE and site safety procedures\nUtilize electrical testing tools including multimeters and diagnostic equipment\nWork Environment:Controls Field Technicians may work in environments such as:\nMajor airport facilities\nIndustrial manufacturing environments\nLarge entertainment or commercial applied experience\n2+ years of electrical, automation, or controls experience for higher technician levels\nExperience with PLC software such as Studio 5000 / Logix 5000 or similar platforms (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)\nStrong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics\nExperience troubleshooting electrical or control system components\nExcellent communication skills and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record\nAbility to travel locally and occasionally out of state\nAbility to work non-standard hours when required\nAbility to obtain a passport\nAbility to pass background screening and drug
