The role owns architectural decisions across application services, database design, integration, performance, security, and production operations while collaborating closely with engineering and business stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn end-to-end solution architecture for backend services, APIs, data persistence, and AWS infrastructure.\nDesign PostgreSQL schemas, indexing strategies, query patterns, replication, backup, high availability, and disaster recovery.\nArchitect AWS workloads using appropriate services such as VPC, IAM, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, and Aurora PostgreSQL.\nDefine non-functional requirements including scalability, latency, availability, security, observability, and cost efficiency.\nLead architecture reviews, technical design documentation, proof-of-concepts, and technology selection.\nPartner with developers and DevOps engineers to improve CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and incident response.\nGuide database migration, capacity planning, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting.\nMentor engineers, review critical designs and code, and communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders.\nREQUIREMENTS\n8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in solution or technical architecture (proposed target).\nStrong hands-on PostgreSQL expertise: SQL, schema/data modeling, indexing, EXPLAIN/ANALYZE, performance tuning, transactions, and concurrency.\nProven AWS architecture experience with networking, compute, storage, IAM/security, monitoring, and managed databases (RDS or Aurora).\nExperience designing distributed backend systems, REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.\nUnderstanding of reliability, backup/recovery, high availability, disaster recovery, and security best practices.\nExperience with CI/CD and production deployments;
