You will work closely with senior team members to ensure all events run smoothly and maintain the company’s brand standards.\nPrincipal Accountabilities\nEvent Support: Assist the international team in the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events, ensuring administrative tasks are completed on time to meet business objectives.\nRegistration Management: Support the setup of registration sites, assist in managing invite lists, and help pull attendance data for internal reports.\nInventory & Brand Oversight: Assist in organizing event inventory (e.g., signage, promotional items) and ensure that all physical assets are packed, shipped, and displayed in accordance with global brand guidelines.\nAdministrative Coordination: Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Marketing & Event Management team, including calendar management and meeting preparation.\nSpeaker & Stakeholder Support: Assist with the onboarding process for speakers for internal events, ensuring they have the necessary information regarding timelines and technical requirements.\nData & Reporting: Gather feedback and survey results post-event to help the team analyze event success and identify areas for improvement.\nOnsite Assistance: Represent the team at events as required, assisting with registration desks, room setups, and attendee inquiries.\nResearch: Conduct research on potential venues, event vendors, and current industry trends to support upcoming project planning.\nQualifications & Skills\nExperience: 3-5 year of experience in event management, marketing, or a related administrative field \nSoftware Proficiency: * Strong computer literacy, particularly in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).\nWillingness and aptitude to learn and become a super user of event-specific software (e.g., Cvent, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud).\nCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with internal stakeholders and external vendors.\nOrganizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple small tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.\nTeamwork: A proactive \"can-do\" attitude and a desire to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.\nAgility: Ability to work on your own initiative to solve simple problems and escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary.\nFlexibility: Willingness to travel for site inspections or onsite event support, which may occasionally include evenings or weekends.\nCME Group: Where Futures are Made\nCME Group is the world’s leading derivatives marketplace.
