In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize complex Salesforce solutions that support critical business functions. You will work closely with product managers, software development managers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable applications on the Salesforce platform.\nOur mortgage servicing, retail lending, and direct-to-consumer teams all run on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. You will build the tools, integrations, and Agentforce agents those teams use every day.\nThe ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow and other configuration tools, and Agentforce customization. You should know software engineering principles well, especially SOLID and standard design patterns. You should also have a strong understanding of JavaScript, including asynchronous behavior and modern frameworks. This role requires a high level of technical skill, strong problem solving, and a passion for clean, maintainable solutions.\nEssential duties and responsibilities: Includes the following responsibilities, but is not limited to:\nDesign and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow, and other declarative tools.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.\nDevelop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST APIs and Salesforce Connect. Our main systems are an operational data store, a loan servicing platform, and loan origination systems.\nBuild and support Service Cloud features for mortgage servicing: Service Cloud Voice on Amazon Connect, Omni-Channel routing, and Email-to-Case.\nBuild Agentforce agents with prompt templates, agent actions, and evaluation tests.\nMaintain the security model for a multi-line-of-business org: permission sets, profiles, sharing rules, and field-level security.\nEnsure code quality through automated testing, peer reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and adherence to best practices.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the Salesforce ecosystem.\nContribute to architectural decisions and platform strategy.\nQualifications and experience:\n8+ years of experience as a software engineer.\n5+ years of experience in Salesforce development.\nStrong Apex: triggers, Batch, Queueable, Schedulable, invocable methods, and REST callouts.\nStrong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security, and governor limits.\nIntegration experience with REST/JSON APIs, Named Credentials, OAuth 2.0 connected apps, and high-volume batch processing.\nProficiency in JavaScript, including asynchronous programming and component-based frameworks (especially LWC).\nSolid grasp of software design principles, including SOLID, object-oriented design, and clean code practices.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.\nSalesforce Certified Platform Developer.\nAuthorized to work in the United States.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience with Agentforce, including configuration, customization, or integration with Service Cloud or Sales Cloud, as well as Einstein.\nExperience with Service Cloud Voice or another CTI integration, Omni-Channel, and Email-to-Case.\nExperience with Financial Services Cloud and Person Accounts.\nMortgage servicing or lending industry knowledge.\nExperience with backend technologies such as .NET, Java, Python, or similar.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\nExposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.\nExperience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, Gearset, Copado, or SFDX.\nDaily use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Codex in your development workflow.\nSalesforce certifications: Platform Developer II, Agentforce Specialist, Platform Integration Architect, or JavaScript Developer.\nSupervisory responsibilities: Direct reports: No.\nPhysical and environmental conditions:\nThis role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. Actual compensation depends on experience, technical skills, industry background and other job-related factors including location and education.
