The group has accountability for creating an employee experience in which the CMPA’s people are inspired, connected and empowered to bring the Association’s vision, mission and strategic plan to life in service of our members and the Canadian healthcare system.\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\nThe in-house Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for partnering with hiring managers to deliver full-cycle recruitment services for a broad range of positions across the Association, including operational, business services, analytical, people leadership, physician, and senior leadership roles. Focused on attracting top talent, the Specialistdevelops a deep understanding of workforce needs and role requirements, and designs and implements effective recruitment strategies to identify, attract, and engage highly qualified candidates. Reporting to the Manager, People Services, the Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates as part of a team of HR professionals responsible for delivering core HR programs and operational services across the CMPA, while providing strategic and effective recruitment support to hiringmanagers throughout the organization.\nThis is a multi-incumbent position consisting of two in-house Talent Acquisition Specialists. One position is designated bilingual essential and requires advanced verbal and written proficiency in both official languages, English and French.\nPOSITION ACTIVITIES\nPartners with the hiring manager to drive the full cycle end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, skill testing, interviewing,and offerpreparation and execution\nCoaches hiring managers in all aspects of the talent acquisition process\nDevelops and executes creative and innovativecorporate and individual recruitment strategiesandinitiatives\nIn partnership with Communications& Marketing, coordinatessocial media recruitment postings, champions networks, and the CMPA's Employee Referral Program to source and attract high-quality candidates, while representing the CMPA at networking and recruitment events to enhance employer brand awareness and talent pipelines\nLeverages talent acquisition tools,such as LinkedIn Recruiter,to actively source passive candidates\nDevelops and implements screening criteria, skills assessments, interview guides, and other evaluation tools to support effective candidate assessment toinform hiring decisions\nConducts candidate screenings and coordinates and participates in interviews alongside hiring managers, ensuring a fair, consistent, and inclusive selection process while delivering an excellent candidate experience\nConducts reference checks and prepares and extends offers, including salary assessmentsbased on market data, internal equity considerations, and as needed, input from the Human Resources Business Partner(HRBP)\nMaintains regular communication with HRBPs on search progress, candidate pools, and recruitment challenges.
