Together, we will raise the bar for project controls delivery across the globe.\nOur Purpose (Why we exist): Inspiring new ways to help shape our construction industry.\nOur Ambition (What we want to achieve): Re-imagine project controls through a digital lens, being the obvious choice for clients and the place to grow together with intention.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nAt CMR you will have the opportunity to professionally develop like nowhere you have worked before.\n\nA culture built on equality and inclusion-central to our identity, essential to our success.\n\nWe use our in-house capability matrix to clearly track your progression and identify development areas, working alongside your line manager and mentors to support your growth.\n\nIf you demonstrate the capability, our merit based system will enable you to develop fast.\n\nJoin our small, dynamic team where every member has the chance to make a significant impact, shaping the future direction of our company and making a real difference.\n\nThe opportunity to join our burgeoning team and contribute to our expansion into new markets.\n\nWe believe in rewarding our team for their achievements, celebrating our successes but equally helping each other when things are tough.\n\nYou'll\nDevelop and maintain project schedules with clear milestones, coordinating work sequences with the total project plan.\n\nPerform schedule monitoring, identify critical activities, and assist in updating and reporting on schedule progress.\n\nSupport the development of schedule estimates for construction works, ensuring they are robust, realistic, and practicable.\n\nHelp define the Basis of Schedule, including key assumptions, exclusions, constraints, and dependencies.\n\nWork closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure buy-in to the project schedule.\n\nSupport planning processes, procedures, and governance, contributing to high standards and consistency across the project.\n\nCollaborate with Cost, Risk, and wider project teams to ensure alignment of assumptions and fully integrated planning.\n\nSupport the identification of interface risks and contribute to QSRA processes alongside the Risk team.\n\nAssist in validating schedule estimates using benchmark data and design information (including BIM where applicable).\n\nPrepare, analyse, and interpret project performance data to enable informed and timely decision-making.\n\nAbout You\nEssential\nDemonstrable experience in a planning or project controls role on construction or infrastructure projects.\n\nProficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.\n\nKnowledge and experience of construction elements (e.g. Civils, M&E, etc.).\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).\n\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to analyse and present information clearly and persuasively.\n\nAbility to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.\n\nComfortable contributing to workshops and discussions to help identify issues and develop solutions.\n\nAble to collaborate well with clients, partners, and wider project teams.\n\nDesirable\nExperience working on major construction and infrastructure projects.\n\nExperience working in a regulated environment (e.g. nuclear, utilities, defence).\n\nQualified to degree level; formal project management qualifications such as PMI, AACE, APM or PRINCE2 would be advantageous.\n\nKnowledge of procurement processes and forms of contract.\n\nMembership of a professional body (AACE, PMI, or APM) or working towards professional qualifications.\n\nAt CMR we have a strong culture driven by our 9 Core Principles.
