With fresh challenges, paid training, and a host of great benefits - a career at CN means work that makes a true difference in the lives of people.\nJoin us today and get your career moving!\nJob Summary\nThe Fleet Services Garage - Mechanic A is responsible for performing all repairs, servicing and up fitting on all types of vehicles.\nMain Responsibilities\nPerform minor and major repairs, servicing and up fitting on all types of vehicles (cars, light truck, medium and heavy trucks, and truck trailers) including mounted vehicle attachments (cranes, Hirail, and gensets) and material handling equipment\nUse electric and oxy-acetylene welding equipment, and other vehicle repair tools to perform repairs\nRecord details on prescribed forms in accordance with established procedures\nWorking Conditions\nPerform outdoors at terminals or indoors, in the field and shop environment in various types of weather and environmental conditions\nAvailable to work variable shifts to accommodate vehicle availability may be required\nProlonged stay away from home may be required when performing necessary field work.
