Every role contributes to protecting businesses, livelihoods and communities, giving our people the opportunity to make a meaningful and visible impact.\nThe Role\nWe are currently hiring for a Marine Claims Manager in our London office to lead and develop our specialist marine claims capability, delivering technical excellence, strong customer outcomes and a consistent, high-quality service across the UK and Europe.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nTeam leadership: Lead, coach and develop marine claims professionals across the UK and Europe, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and technical excellence.\nTechnical oversight: Provide direction on complex and high-value marine claims, including coverage, liability, investigation, reserving, settlement and litigation strategy.\nOperational performance: Manage claims costs, performance indicators and reserving accuracy while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.\nStakeholder engagement: Build trusted relationships with brokers, customers, underwriters and business partners to deliver effective claims solutions and support profitable growth.\nGovernance and strategy: Maintain high claims, regulatory and governance standards while contributing to strategic projects and the continued development of our marine proposition.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nMarine claims expertise: Significant experience managing a diverse portfolio of marine claims, with strong knowledge across multiple marine products.\nLeadership experience: A proven ability to lead and develop claims teams, strengthen capability and improve performance.\nComplex claims management: Strong technical expertise in handling complex and high-value claims from investigation and reserving through to settlement.\nCommercial judgement: Sound analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance customer, technical and business considerations.\nCommunication and influence: Excellent negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to operate effectively across a complex international matrix.\nWhy Join CNA Hardy?\nOur workplace is dynamic, challenging and ever evolving, here your voice matters and you can make a difference.
