The Role
From machine operators to maintenance technicians to quality inspectors, our teams help protect what matters most-making everyday life safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 3-4 day schedule
- B - Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & alternating Saturdays)
What You'll Do
- Supervise and coordinate activities of employees engaged in printing on plastic film using flexographic or gravure presses.
- Monitor production schedules, adjust staffing or equipment use to meet targets, and minimize downtime.
- Oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of printing presses and associated equipment.
- Ensure proper color matching, registration, and print quality in alignment with customer specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks and resolve any product or process issues in real-time.
- Collaborate with the extrusion and converting departments to ensure seamless flow of materials and information.
- Mentor, and evaluate team members; enforce safety protocols and company policies.
- Ensure staff is trained and growing in operator roles
- Manage day to day responsibilities, engagement, and success of Material Handler Team
- Maintain accurate production and downtime records; report metrics and improvement opportunities to leadership.
- Manage inventory of inks, solvents, plates, and other printing supplies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
- Lead 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement efforts in the printing area.
- Drive Engagement for reporting team
- Lead weekly huddles and team meetings
What You’ll Bring
Essential Qualifications:
- 5+ years of leadership experience required, with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of plastic extrusion experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Previous manufacturing experience
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Salary:
- Wages ranging from $27.00 + per hour, dependent on experience.
- Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential.
