You'll play a key role in ensuring our teams have access to reliable, well-managed data, helping us create accurate, scalable and repeatable insights that support better decision-making across the business.\nWhy this role matters\nIn this role, you'll work with stakeholders from across Technology to improve data quality, streamline processes and create trusted data products that support planning and performance activities. You'll have the chance to influence outcomes, solve complex problems and make a visible impact on how we operate.\nWhat you’ll do\nBuild, maintain and improve data products that support planning, funding and performance activities across Technology\nGather, transform and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring it is accurate, consistent and fit for purpose\nImplement and monitor data quality controls, identifying and resolving issues, inconsistencies and duplication\nDevelop and maintain reporting layers, reusable datasets and standardised measures to support consistent reporting and analysis\nWork with stakeholders to understand data requirements, gather information and support improvements to data processes and governance\nSupport automation and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency\nMaintain clear documentation for datasets, metrics, definitions and data processes to support consistent use across teams\nRespond to business data needs, providing trusted, well-structured information that supports effective decision-making\nWhat you’ll bring\nWe’re committed to making our roles as accessible as possible, so we only ask for the minimum criteria. To thrive here, you’ll need to bring:\nExperience working with data transformation, data quality or data management in a business environment\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, investigate root causes and improve data accuracy\nExperience building relationships with stakeholders and gathering requirements from different teams\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, with experience working with large datasets and an interest in tools such as Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps\nThe ability to understand the wider business context behind the data and translate requirements into practical solutions\nA proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently and identify opportunities for improvement\nWe know some people may hesitate to apply if they don’t meet every requirement.
