Responsibilities include reconciling and resolving Federated/Unified Market Accounts Payables and associated commissions promptly. Additionally, managing the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of Direct Bill Commission for Wealth Management. The role also involves addressing inquiries from internal and external partners.\nHow you will create impact:\nPrepare monthly GL entries.\nProcess accounts receivable and accounts payable.\nCorrespond with internal and external clients.\nPrepare account reconciliations according to accounting policy and investigate reconciling items for account accuracy.\nAssist in the preparation of various statutory, monthly, quarterly, annual and courtesy reporting as required.\nAssist with resolution of accounting issues/processes.\nPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual billings to brokers/insurers.\nTo join our team:\nAccounting/Business post secondary graduate.\nMinimum one year accounting or business related experience.\nEnrolled in the CPA Certification Program is an determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as
