The best part is that you will work with people that care passionately about you, our clients and our communities.\nThe Senior Corporate Development Coordinator is responsible for providing coordination and executive support to the Corporate Development Group, including both Traditional and Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) Fund activities. This role supports Traditional project managers throughout acquisition initiatives as needed and coordinates the administration and management of CVC Fund project processes.\nHow you will create impact:\nReviewing and prioritizing emails, correspondence, and inquiries, escalating urgent matters as required while safeguarding confidential and sensitive information.\nManaging complex calendars, appointments, and scheduling activities to optimize time management and executive efficiency.\nCoordinating meetings, special events, travel arrangements, and presentations, including logistics, venue selection, technical support, and presentation preparation.\nAdministering M&A and CVC project documentation, including confidentiality agreements, transaction records, and other critical project materials.\nProviding project management support by maintaining transaction calendars, tracking deliverables, and ensuring stakeholders meet established deadlines and requirements.\nCollaborating with Analysts and Associates to develop M&A and CVC presentation materials and support strategic project initiatives.\nBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders, senior leadership, and team members while driving process improvements and providing backup support during absences and peak workloads.\nTo join our team:\nYou have completed a post-secondary education in Business, Communications, Administration, Finance, or a related field\nYou have 3 to 5 years of corporate experience in roles with significant responsibility, including at least 3 years supporting senior leaders in an Executive Assistant capacity.\nYou have a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and WebEx.\nYou have knowledge of web-based, audiovisual, and virtual meeting technologies.\n\nYou have knowledge of the insurance and/or co-operative sectors, which would be considered an asset\n\nHow you will succeed:\nYou influence change and are committed to continuous improvement, in order to exceed client expectations.\nYou leverage critical thinking skills to identify problems and proactively propose solutions.\nYour strong communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages.\nYou’re an effective team player who shares knowledge to support our peers.\nWhat you need to know:\nYou will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.\nRole requires that time be spent away from main office location\nExtended work hours, including evenings and weekends MAY be required\nWhat’s in it for you?\nTraining and development opportunities to grow your career.\nFlexible work options to support personal and family needs.\nA holistic approach to your well-being, with physical and mental health programs and a supportive workplace culture.\nVolunteer opportunities to give back to your community.\nSalary information\nExpected hourly range $26.86 -
