You will contribute to a range of highly complex and diverse team initiatives and provide training and support to the members of your team.\nTechnologies you have experience with:\nYou have experience with at least one of the Guidewire suite of products - PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter. including configuration and development using Gosu, UI workflows, TeamCity, and Guidewire Studio/IntelliJ.\nExperience integrating Guidewire with external systems via web services, REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Views, Integration Gateway and message queues.\nExperience in Guidewire tools and accelerators, batch processing, and predefined plugins, GUnit, paired with a strong understanding of Guidewire architecture and its internal components.\nExperience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and cloud-native deployments.\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Confluence.\nGuidewire Associate Developer certification is an asset.\nProficiency in Java/J2EE, Maven/Gradle, Java design principles, unit testing with JUnit, and related web technologies including XML.\nExperience in SQL skills and experience with relational/nosql databases is an asset.\nHow you will create impact:\nSupporting the team in various responsibilities including estimating assigned tasks, completing status reports, and creating and maintaining technical documentation.\nParticipating in the design and execution of program coding to implement features of small to medium complexity.\nContributing to an implementation and back-out plan for a single system.\nAssisting with unit testing for developed code, verifying functionalities and supporting system and user acceptance testing.\nLearning relevant Information Technology (IT) standards, methodologies, processes and tools and contributing to project reviews.\nTo join our team:\nYou have three years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.\nYou have completed post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.\nYou have 1+ years experience in Object Oriented Programming languages using JAVA technology.\nProficiency in English is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority non-francophone clients, groups, teams. Drafting complex English documents and preparing daily reports for anglophone leaders.
