The incumbent focuses on the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of systems or applications to ensure that client needs are met. As the second level in the Systems Development job stream, the Systems Developer completes tasks involving moderately complex/diverse programs and systems.\nTechnologies you have experience with:\nIntermediate level experience as a full stack .NET Developer (C#, MVC, JavaScript).\nIntermediate level experience designing and building web-based applications\nIntermediate level experience with HTML 5 and CSS.\nIntermediate level experience with SQL Server\nWorking knowledge of developing and utilization of APIs.\nWorking knowledge of Containerized framework, Azure Cloud, SSO integration, Identity and Access Management protocols, MFA.\nWorking knowledge of SDLC, DevOps (GitHub), Design patterns.\nExperience with OpenShift is an asset.\nHow you will create impact:\nAnalyze business and system requirements, assess impacts, and translate needs into practical technical solutions aligned with established standards and processes. \nDesign and develop maintainable, reusable, and scalable solutions for small to medium-complexity enhancements and applications. \nPlan and manage your development activities, including effort estimates, coding, debugging, and progress tracking, while escalating risks or challenges as needed. \nDevelop and execute unit testing and collaborate with business systems analysts to support system and user acceptance testing, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects. \nSupport solution implementation by contributing to deployment and back-out plans, coordinating implementation activities, and providing post-implementation and warranty support. \nCreate and maintain clear technical documentation covering requirements, solution design, testing, implementation, and ongoing system support. \nCollaborate with IT and business stakeholders to communicate technical recommendations, testing results, project status, and opportunities to improve systems and development processes.\nTo join our team:\nA diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. \nStrong understanding of application components, system interfaces, and integrations with other applications. \nUnderstanding of business processes and how technology and applications support business needs and operations. \nProficiency with relevant programming languages, development environments, tools, and techniques. \nExperience supporting various phases of the systems development lifecycle, including systems analysis, programming, testing, and implementation. \nStrong systems analysis, design, integration, and problem-solving skills.\nHow you will succeed:\nYou influence change and are committed to $100,956\nSalary placement\nThe salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.\nIncentive/Variable pay\nEmployees may also have the opportunity
