We bring our industry expertise together to continually push the boundaries of what insurance can be for our clients.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations, acting as a technical resource regarding risk control matters for underwriting, claims, and insureds or potential insuredsEnsure quality surveys are completed to assist in risk selection as an integral part of the underwriting process\nDevelop, submit and implement state-mandated loss control plans\nRespond to state-mandated loss control inspections and data calls\nKeep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to loss control\n\nResponsible for performing account coordination, directing work, quality assurance, problem solving and solutions managementEnsure quality surveys are completed to assist in risk selection as an integral part of the underwriting process\nConduct quality assurance checks and approve completed surveys for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards\nAddress and resolve any survey-related issues or client concerns in a timely manner\nParticipate in or complete surveys when required\nComplete recommendation letters and follow ups\n\nLiaison between vendors, underwriting, and claims to optimize delivery of risk control servicesExecute programs to aid in the reduction of controllable losses as requested by underwriters\nDetermine how best to align service providers based on technical skill sets\nAssist in developing guidelines and tools for surveyors and services\nFacilitate effective communication between field staff, clients, and internal stakeholders\nManage approval process for insureds’ consultative services and extended training programs\nAssign work to vendors/consultants and ensure timely, accurate completion\nDevelop financial plans and budgets for Loss Control expense\n\nEnhance and maintain Coaction’s loss control services online portal\nDevelop or improve processes, metrics, and best practices for survey and service delivery. Identify and implement improvements including identifying optimal uses of automation and artificial intelligence. \nPrepare and deliver operational and performance reports to stakeholders and senior management.\nQualifications\n7+ years P&C loss control/risk engineering experience, including 5+ years of loss control field expertise, at least 3 years managing large multi-line service accounts and vendor management.\nAbility to identify loss drivers, perform loss analysis, develop/build/implement service plans.\nFamiliarity with state insurance regulatory requirements\nAble to make decisions with and without established guidelines and provide technical support to underwriters and insureds\nExperience with training, mentoring, coaching other loss control professionals.\nStrong verbal/written/listening/presentation & communications skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team and comfortable with hybrid office environment\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking abilities, and flexibility with prioritizing/re-prioritizing of tasks\n**This role must sit in our Morristown, NJ office on our hybrid schedule, being in office no less than 3 days a week**.\nSalary range specific to for this role : $111,000-$147,000 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, and qualifications.
