safe and efficient facility operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nCivil & Structural Maintenance\nConduct routine inspections of building structures, concrete works, drainage systems, and surrounding grounds to identify defects, deterioration, and maintenance requirements.\nVerify actual site conditions against existing technical drawings and coordinate updates where necessary.\nOn-Site Operations & Troubleshooting\nTake a hands-on approach to daily facility operations, including site investigations, technical troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure-related issues.\nEnsure timely follow-through on identified issues, from initial assessment through to resolution.\nContractor & Project Management\nCoordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to execute maintenance and modification works.\nReview technical drawings, blueprints, and structural plans to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.\nPreventive Maintenance & Safety\nDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimise operational downtime.\nEnsure all maintenance and engineering activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.\nMechanical & Electrical Systems\nOversee the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), chillers, and air distribution systems.\nMonitor and maintain electrical infrastructure, including high- and low-voltage distribution systems, lighting, and backup generators.\nFacilities Improvement & Project Execution\nIdentify opportunities to enhance facility efficiency, reliability, and operational performance.\nPrepare technical scopes of work and manage infrastructure improvement projects from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nMinimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in facilities engineering, building maintenance, construction, or site operations.\nStrong understanding of civil and structural maintenance, with practical exposure to building infrastructure and site works.\nWorking knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly AHUs and chillers, as well as electrical distribution systems.\nFamiliarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), electrical single-line diagrams, and HVAC operating parameters.\nProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and structural layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent software.\nKnowledge of local building regulations and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.\n\nKey Competencies\nDetail-Oriented: Able to identify early signs of structural defects, equipment abnormalities, and potential system failures.\nHands-On & Proactive: Comfortable working on-site alongside technicians and contractors, taking ownership of issues through to resolution.\nStrong Problem-Solving Skills: Able to assess technical challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.\nStakeholder Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.\nCritical Thinking: Demonstrates sound technical judgement, analytical thinking, and the
