You’ll use analytics, experimentation, and modern statistical techniques to improve the cyber insurance customer experience and grow revenue safely and efficiently.\nYou’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and insurance stakeholders to identify emerging trends, prioritize opportunities, and turn complex data into clear, actionable strategies that shape product and operational roadmaps.\nResponsibilities\nLead cross-functional analytics projects that uncover insights and optimization opportunities across the end-to-end customer journey\nSupport the team’s long term goal of enabling data analytics agents for the business through context engineering support and data analysis\nDesign and analyze experiments, and establish best practices for test design, power, guardrails, and interpretation\nDefine, document, and maintain core funnel metrics, and build automated dashboards and reporting for leadership\nSynthesize findings from disparate data sources into clear narratives with recommended actions\nDevelop data models and scalable analytical workflows that improve reliability, repeatability, and time-to-insight\nInfluence product and revenue leadership with data-backed recommendations and OKR tracking\nMentor junior analysts and scientists, and contribute to team standards for code quality and documentation\nSkills and Qualifications\n6+ years in analytics or data science, with demonstrated product or revenue impact\nExpert SQL skills, including complex modeling, performance optimization, and clear documentation\nProficiency in Python or R for analysis, experimentation, and reproducible workflows\nStrong grasp of statistical methods, including hypothesis testing, experiment design, causal thinking, and interpretation\nExperience with BI tools such as Looker or Tableau, and the ability to build reliable, executive-ready dashboards\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical work to non-technical audiences\nBonus Points\nExperience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot\nDomain experience in insurance, insurtech, fintech, or other regulated industries\nFamiliarity with tools like Amplitude, Google Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce, Segment, or Zuora\nExperience with analytics workflow tools such as dbt or Airflow\nExposure to causal inference methods and quasi-experimental designs\nCompensation\nAs a remote-first organization, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several Canadian geographic markets. \nIn Alberta, British Columbia & Ontario the base salary for this position ranges from $137,300/year up to $205,900/year. \nFor all other locations, the base salary for this position ranges from $123,600/year up to $185,300/year. \nConsistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location.
