You should have strong instincts for both AI-powered product experiences and the underlying technical systems to make them real.\nWhat you’ll work on:\nDesign and implement agentic workflows that help users generate UI layouts, flows, and content automatically\nBuild AI-powered copilots that assist with creating components, writing code, and refining interfaces\nImplement RAG systems that leverage documentation, design systems, and component libraries\nOptimize for speed, determinism, and quality across creative and structured AI outputs\nPush the boundaries of what’s possible in an AI-first design + build environment\nYou might be a fit if you’ve:\nBuilt AI features for design tools (e.g. auto-layout, design-to-code, style transfer)\nCreated developer copilots (e.g. natural language to UI, code completion, intelligent suggestions)\nWorked with vector graphics, color palettes, or typography AI\nIntegrated AI into design systems, no-code tools, or IDEs\nUsed GPT-4, Claude 3+, and open-source models in production\nBuilt advanced prompt-engineered workflows that balance creativity and accuracy\nWorked with ASTs, design tokens, or component trees\nMade AI outputs context-aware (e.g. understanding canvas or code state)\nBonus if you’ve:\nExperience with semantic embeddings for search and retrieval\nContributed to or built internal tooling for prompt testing and LLM evaluation\nA strong product sense and love building intuitive UI/UX alongside designers\nWhy Coast:\nWe’re a lean, fast-moving team that’s obsessed with product and serving our customers.
