The Solution Architect is responsible for owning the overall design of the technical solution as well as recommending best practice solutions based on client needs. They provide technical guidance to the development of Salesforce.com and other SaaS applications to support business and product strategies. A Solution Architect facilitates discovery sessions to understand client processes and challenges and translates findings into technical requirements supported by a documented solution design. They provide thoughtful leadership and communication to project and client team members in order to build the foundation as a trusted partner.\nRole Responsibilities:\nResponsible for designing a solution to leverage Salesforce product, features, and best practices extended with custom components to meet customer needs\nDelivers technical and non-technical documentation for assigned projects, with relevant architecture diagrams (data models, high-level architecture, integration architecture, etc.)\nResponsible for overall solution design, build task development, estimating effort to complete build tasks and oversight of reporting/dashboard creation and UAT.\nFamiliarity with the difference between declarative and programmatic development, partner applications (i.e. Conga, DocuSign, AccountingSeed, etc), and general AppExchange products and when it is appropriate to use each in relation to customer requirements.\nDemonstrates the ability to perform Salesforce.com administration/configuration/data migration duties as needed\nWorks effectively individually and with Coastal team members and client members toward customer satisfaction and success\nAct as a solution SME, working with Delivery leadership and Account Executives to accurately scope sales proposals\nPartner with Project Managers to encourage a collaborative environment with delivery and customer project teams.\nSeeks opportunities to develop professional and technical skills, while also providing guidance and support to Coastal team members for technical and professional growth\nAchieves and maintains necessary Salesforce technical certifications and Salesforce partner certifications\nExperience/Skills Required:\nPrior experience working within the Health and Life Sciences industry as an employee, or supporting them as a client in a techno functional capacity. \n4-6 years of advanced skills in Salesforce Platform Business Analysis and exposure to Project Scoping\n2+ years experience in a Senior Consultant (or equivalent seniority) \nDemonstrate strong competencies around the core Salesforce.com platform\nApplied knowledge of Salesforce and the Sales, Services, and Marketing functions\nActive Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant Certification required, minimum 4x certified preferred\nAdditional Salesforce.com cloud knowledge specific to industry/verticals (Nonprofit Cloud, Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, CPQ, Field Service, etc.) preferred\nPrevious experience with software development life cycle (SLDC), Agile or Hybrid preferred\nAbility to create entity relationship and object relationship diagrams to demonstrate design concepts and tools\nExcellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously\nExperience being client-facing and/or acting as an internal project leader and managing multiple stakeholders\nAbility to develop practical solutions and methodologies on the Salesforce platform\nMust have full-time permanent US work authorization\nNote - Determination of Senior will be based upon the candidates’ previous relevant experience and depth of skills, and will be determined through our skills interview process.\nAdditional Preferred Experience/Skills:\nBachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience\nExperience with Health Cloud, and Health Cloud Accredited Professional preferred\nExperience with Life Sciences Cloud and/or certification\nTravel, as required by client or project milestones\nDemonstrates a basic level of knowledge of common enterprise systems CRM or ERP\nWhy Coastal, and what we offer:\nFlexible working hours with an emphasis on a life-work balance (in that order!)\nRemote flexible work; plus company office locations in Palm Coast, FL; Atlanta, GA; Tysons, VA & Lexington, KY; travel as required to client locations \nUnlimited Paid Time Off (RTO), 401K with Company Match, and Medical, Vision, & Dental coverage \nCompetitive quarterly bonus opportunities\nContinuing education and certification reimbursements, specifically within the Salesforce and Snowflake ecosystems; plus occasional in-house competitions with spot bonuses\nA flexible and fun team culture!
