vision to drive continued automation.\nService Health & Operational Performance: Be accountable for platform stability, performance, and availability across production and pre-production environments.\nTechnical Debt & Modernisation: Ensure technical debt is visible, prioritised, and actively reduced through refactoring and modernisation initiatives.\nEngineering Efficiency: Improve productivity through streamlined practices and tooling, automation, and effective code management practices.\nPeople, Capability & Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop Engineering and Quality leaders, build required capability, and drive alignment across Product, Delivery, Operations, Support, and Account Management.\n Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify and mitigate engineering and quality risks ensuring delivery quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.\nQualifications and Experience\n10+ years in software engineering and/or quality, with 5+ years in technical leadership and experience leading both engineering and quality functions\nBachelors Degrees in Engineering, Computer science, or related fields\nProven experience delivering enterprise-scale software platforms, ideally including content services or digital experience solutions\nStrong background with both cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred) and distributed systems (Linux-based environments preferred)\nDemonstrated accountability for engineering execution, quality outcomes and quality governance\nDeep understanding of modern software delivery practices (Agile, Lean, DevOps, CI/CD, etc.)\nExperience establishing engineering frameworks, standards, and practices across distributed teams\nExperience defining and scaling quality management strategies, including automation and shift-left practices\nDemonstrated success managing engineering teams supporting SaaS or digital experience platforms\nProven track record of launching successful products, platforms, and/or client-facing service
