Job responsibilities also require that the Security Engineer III be proficient in the installation and maintenance of Firewall’s. Remote Access systems, and Network Access Control systems.\nAdditional items of knowledge and experience needed include:\nNetwork Security Monitoring systems\nNetwork Authentication systems\nNetwork Security assessments\nLinux administration\nMicrosoft domain services\nCybersecurity programs \nSKILLS:\nKnowledge of data loss prevention\nKnowledge of hacking techniques\nKnowledge of vulnerability management programs\nKnowledge of virtual environments\nKnowledge of scripting languages\nKnowledge of project management concepts\nDemonstrated public speaking and presentation skills\nMust be able to demonstrate creativity and out-of-box thinking in analyzing and delivering solutions.\nMust be a self-starter able to work without close supervision and to think independently.\nExcellent organizational, verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to appropriately handle confidential information\nAbility to work off hours/shifts as needed/required\nPREFERRED:\nPrevious utility experience\nExperience with Network Performance Monitor/Network Detection and Response platforms, Multifactor authentication systems, Routing/Switching, Firewalls and Security Policy, network access control systems,\nSIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel and Google SecOps.\nCORE Values:\nPut People First\nCare, listen and connect.
