Equipment may include but not limited to vending machines, coolers, restaurant fountain equipment and coffee dispensing equipment. This position is responsibility for performing preventative and quality maintenance checks in addition to maintaining various records and reports.\n ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDeliver, remove, exchange, and relocate beverage equipment.\nLoad and unload beverage equipment for delivery and/or return\nCommunicate with customers and supervisors regarding delivery and pick up status\nCooler placement - which involves checking temperature and refrigeration.\nEducate customers in operation of equipment.\nAssist with installations, removals, and relocations of fountain equipment (post mix or pre mix) and coffee dispensing equipment.\nTroubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.\nOperate a motor vehicle, both manual and automatic transmissions.\nMaintain on-vehicle parts inventory.\nGenerate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory.\nMaintain and complete required paperwork such as work tickets, parts list, vehicle inspections, etc.\nRebuild and repair parts and equipment.\nUse electronic handheld devise such as IPad for data entry and retrieval.\nProvide quality customer service including driving to customer locations to deliver and/or repair equipment.\nMaintain clean and safe work area.\nScheduling flexibility is required.\nConform with, abide by, and re-enforce all regulations, policies, work procedures, and processes\n JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nMechanical skills.\nSelf-motivated with a high degree of integrity and ability to perform job with minimal supervision on a timely basis\nAbility to follow manufacturers’ specifications and schematics.\nElectrical problem diagnosis and repair.\nProgrammable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge preferred.\nValid driver’s license and a motor vehicle driving history that meets Company guidelines.\nAdaptability - Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.\nCommunication - Ability to effectively, clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing.\nDecision Making - Display willingness to make critical decisions while following company practices.\nEnthusiasm - Ability to bring energy to the day-to-day as well as long-term tasks and plans.\nJudgment - Display willingness to make timely decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgment.\nPlanning & Organizing - Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans.\nReliability - Demonstrate regular attendance and availability to staff and management.\nQuality Management - Demonstrate commitment to improve and promote quality in all operating areas.\nSafety & Security - Promote and personally observe safety and security procedures, use equipment, and materials properly.\nHonesty, Integrity, Trust & Respect - Must be seen as truthful and credible and exhibit respectful behavior in all actions representing the company.\nRequirements\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nHigh School diploma or GED required.\n1-3 years of general work experience required.\nRefrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.\nGeneral plumbing and technical experience preferred.\nDemonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.\nBasic computer skills.\nPrior work experience with moving equipment preferred.\nPrevious vending equipment repair and distribution a plus.\nForklift certification preferred.\nPrevious experience within high-speed industrial environment preferred\nMay be required to supply hand tools.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nAbility to do heavy lifting on a daily basis. Must be able to lift 75 lbs.\nMust be able to work standing for long periods.\nMust be able to work in various work environments including but not limited to heights, confined spaces and outdoors.\nWork involves walking, talking and hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects.
