This position is also responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPull orders based on pick tickets to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks.\nResponsible for cleanliness and organization of warehouse area and production equipment.\nMonitor all product that is both incoming and outgoing for accountability accuracy.\nRestock and replenish as appropriate.\nOperate industrial power equipment.\nStage completed pallets in designated area.\nTransport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area.\nLoad and unload designated trailers and/or route trucks.\nBuild orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment.\nManually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation.\nResponsible for meeting productivity requirements.\nAdhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.\nConform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and processes.\nJOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nAbility to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product.\nAbility to operate manufacturing equipment.\nDemonstrated attention to detail.\nWork independently with little supervision.\nAbility to train new employees.\nAbility to troubleshoot problems associated to the warehouse and production issues.\nAdaptability - Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.\nCommunication - Ability to effectively, clearly and concisely communicate verbally to both co-workers and customers.\nDecision Making - Display willingness to make critical decisions while following company practices.\nDelegation - Ability to delegate work, give authority to work independently, set expectations and monitor delegated activities.\nEnthusiasm - Ability to bring energy to the day to day as well as long-term tasks and plans.\nJudgment - Display willingness to make timely decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgment.\nLeadership - Ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well; accept feedback.\nPlanning & Organizing - Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans.\nReliability - Demonstrate regular attendance and availability to staff and management.\nQuality Management - Demonstrate commitment to improve and promote quality in all operating areas.\nSafety & Security - Promote and personally observe safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.\nHonesty, Integrity, Trust & Respect - Must be seen as truthful and credible and exhibit respectful behavior in all actions representing the company.\nRequirements\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.\n0 - 1 year of general work experience.\nPrior warehouse/production/equipment service experience preferred.\nForklift certification is a plus.\nTRAINING REQUIREMENTS\nNew Hire Orientation\nCompany’s Inter-Active Safety Training\nAllergen Awareness Training\nDiversity & Harassment Training\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nWork involves walking, talking and hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects.
