The role will focus on delivering a secure, reliable, and high-performing virtual desktop experience for end users, while driving automation, modernization, and continuous improvement across the Digital Workplace landscape.\nYOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide Level 3 operational support for Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Dev Box, Windows 365, and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments.\nManage and optimize host pools, images, policies, user assignments, session hosts, and capacity planning across VDI platforms.\nDevelop and enhance cloud-based virtual desktop solutions to improve scalability, resilience, and user experience.\nTroubleshoot complex VDI-related issues, including connectivity, authentication, performance, profiles, printing, and application delivery, working closely with Service Desk and Level 2 Operational Support teams.\nDeploy and maintain golden images, application packages, OS updates, and security patches while minimizing user disruption.\nAutomate VDI administration tasks using PowerShell, Azure Automation, Citrix scripting tools, and other automation platforms.\nCollaborate with Cyber Security teams to implement secure access controls, Conditional Access, MFA, and endpoint protection policies.\nCoordinate and collaborate with 3rd party vendors to resolve complex issues and improve platform stability.\nManage and optimize Nerdio Manager for Enterprise to automate Azure Virtual Desktop operations, including host pool scaling, image management, cost optimization, patching, and simplified administration of the virtual desktop environment.\nWork with Nexthink Digital Employee Experience, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Citrix Director, or similar tools to proactively identify performance issues and improve user experience.\nSupport migrations and modernization initiatives, including transition from legacy Citrix platforms to Microsoft cloud-based virtual desktop solutions.\nSupport the integration between VDI platforms and ServiceNow, ensuring accurate CI data, request automation, and lifecycle tracking.\nMaintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.\nEnsure reliable operation of business-critical services by meeting agreed SLAs, optimizing performance and availability, and driving rapid incident resolution with a strong focus on incident & ticket volume reduction and MTTR reduction\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production systems, leveraging operational insights, automation, and root cause analysis to enhance service stability, resilience, and user experience\nARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\n7+ years of experience in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, End User Computing, or Workplace Platform Engineering.\nStrong expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, Microsoft Dev Box, and Citrix environments.\nStrong expertise with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise, including host pool automation, autoscaling, image management, patching, and Azure cost optimization.\nStrong knowledge of Windows multi-session environments, image lifecycle management, host pool sizing, and performance tuning.\nExperience with FSLogix profile management, login optimization, and user session performance troubleshooting.\nHands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, Azure Automation, and infrastructure automation for VDI administration.\nStrong understanding of Microsoft Azure services relevant to VDI, including networking, storage, identity, monitoring, and cost management.\nSolid knowledge of Active Directory / Entra ID, Group Policy, Conditional Access, and identity management concepts.\nFamiliarity with Nexthink Digital Employee Experience, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Citrix Director, and ServiceNow is a strong advantage.\nUnderstanding security best practices for virtual desktop platforms, including MFA, privileged access, hardening standards, and vulnerability remediation.\nExperience supporting migrations or modernization programs from legacy Citrix / on-prem VDI to cloud-based virtual desktop services.\nExperience working in an Agile / SAFe environment and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in complex enterprise environments.\nExcellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nFluent in written and verbal English\nABOUT YOUR NEW TEAM:\nWe are Coca-Cola Hellenic, a growth-focused consumer goods business and strategic bottling partner of the Coca-Cola Company.
