You will prepare, configure, test and maintain communications equipment to ensure it is ready for customer demonstrations, training, trade shows and internal events.\nWorking closely with sales, product, engineering and customer support teams, you will also coordinate equipment availability, inventory movements, dispatches and returns. This role would suit an electronics technician with some materials management, inventory or supply chain experience who enjoys combining technical work with equipment coordination.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and configure communications equipment, including firmware and software updates, licensing and functional testing\nInspect returned equipment, investigate technical issues and coordinate repairs or further engineering support where required\nMaintain loan, demonstration and exhibition equipment to ensure ongoing readiness, reliability and functionality\nCoordinate equipment allocation, bookings and availability to meet customer and internal requirements\nSupport materials and inventory management, maintaining accurate records of equipment, accessories and associated components\nProcess equipment dispatches, returns and stock movements through DTC’s ERP system\nMonitor outstanding loans and follow up overdue, missing or damaged equipment\nCoordinate the annual stocktake of Adelaide demonstration assets and support regional offices with timely completion\nProvide backup support for technical enquiries, RMAs and customer visits\nSupport ISO 9001 audits and contribute to improvements in equipment preparation, asset management and customer support processes\nAbout You\nYou are an electronics technician with practical experience preparing, configuring, testing and maintaining electronic or communications equipment. You hold a qualification in electronics or communications, or bring equivalent trade or industry experience, with a methodical approach to fault finding and problem solving.\nYou also bring some experience in materials management, inventory control, logistics or supply chain activities, ideally within a technical or manufacturing environment. You understand the importance of accurate stock and asset records, equipment availability and timely dispatch, and are comfortable using ERP or inventory management systems. Experience with SAP would be advantageous.\nOrganised and customer-focused, you can balance hands-on technical work with coordination and administrative responsibilities.
