It’s the Wave guarantee.\nWhat will you be doing?\nReporting to the Engineering leadership team, the Engineering Technician / Manufacturing Test Technician will play a key role in supporting product development, testing, and manufacturing operations at Wave Central, a leader in integrated wireless video and broadcast solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring products are properly tested, validated, and prepared for deployment while supporting the transition from engineering development into manufacturing.\nThis is a highly hands-on role where the successful candidate will work closely with both Engineering and Manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues, execute testing procedures, and improve product reliability. The position involves working with a variety of electronic systems, test equipment, and software tools to support validation, debugging, and manufacturing test activities.\nThe role offers strong technical exposure across hardware and software environments, making it well suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, hands-on testing, and supporting the delivery of high-quality products in a fast-paced engineering environment.\nKey Responsibilities will include:\nPerforming functional testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic systems and assemblies.\nExecuting manufacturing test procedures to ensure product quality, consistency, and reliability.\nSetting up and operating electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, and power supplies.\nReading and interpreting electronic schematics and technical documentation to support debugging and validation activities.\nDeveloping, maintaining, and executing Python-based test scripts and automation tools.\nSupporting Engineering teams with product bring-up, verification, and root cause analysis activities.\nDocumenting test procedures, results, and issues clearly while contributing to continuous improvement of test processes and manufacturing readiness.\nAbout You:\nThe ideal candidate will be a hands-on and detail-oriented technical professional with a strong interest in electronics, testing, and manufacturing support. Comfortable working across both hardware and software environments, they will enjoy troubleshooting problems, improving processes, and working collaboratively with engineering and production teams.\nThe successful candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A proactive and team-oriented mindset, along with a willingness to learn and adapt, will be key to success in this role.\nTo be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:\nAn Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent hands-on technical experience.\nExperience using electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.\nThe ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation.\nWorking knowledge of Python scripting or test automation tools.\nStrong computer skills, including experience working within Linux environments.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.\nExperience or exposure to RF, embedded systems, manufacturing test processes, or hardware/software integration is considered beneficial.\nBenefits and Culture\nOur culture is supportive and collaborative.
