You'll work across cloud, CI/CD, security, and observability - partnering with cross functional teams to ship faster and build more reliably.\nOur engineers are AI native and engage in and advance the state of the art in the practice of software development flow with AI.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nDesign and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure with a focus on high availability and operational excellence\nBuild and evolve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe software delivery - from commit to production\nEmbed DevSecOps principles across the pipeline: security scanning, secrets management, and compliance by default\nLead IaC practices with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible - keeping environments reproducible and auditable\nOwn observability: monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing across all systems\nDrive cloud cost optimization, identifying inefficiencies and right-sizing resources proactively\nPartner with engineering teams to improve developer experience and remove friction from the SDLC\nMaintain architecture documentation, runbooks, and post-mortems to support a culture of continuous improvement\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED\nExtensive experience provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and/or Azure\nStrong proficiency with IaC tools - Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins\nDeep expertise with Docker and Kubernetes\nExperience designing high-availability, fault-tolerant architectures\nSolid understanding of deployment strategies: blue-green, canary releases, and feature flags\nExperience with serverless architectures - AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions\nFamiliarity with edge platforms and CDNs such as Fastly and AWS CloudFront\nExperience with developer platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, and WP Engine\nDeep understanding of security best practices and hands-on DevSecOps experience\nExperience with Snyk, SonarQube, AWS Secrets Manager, and HashiCorp Vault\nExperience with observability platforms - New Relic, Datadog, or AWS CloudWatch\nSolid Linux administration and experience configuring NGINX, Traefik, and load balancers\nProficiency scripting in bash and Python for automation and internal tooling\nDeep understanding of networking, cloud architectures, and web application design\nExperience with Git and managed platforms such as GitHub, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps\nExperience implementing cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices\nStrong communication skills - able to discuss complex technical topics and author clear documentation\nComfortable leveraging AI-enabled development tools and workflows to accelerate engineering, automation, debugging, and operational tasks\nExperience orchestrating multi-step AI or agent-driven workflows, including selecting appropriate models, tools, and execution patterns for different use cases\nStrong judgment reviewing and hardening AI-assisted output for security, scalability, maintainability, and architectural fit\nExperience building or maintaining prompts, evaluation frameworks, documentation, or operational context systems that improve engineering velocity and reliability\nFamiliarity with automated evaluation and feedback loops for AI-enabled systems and workflows\nNICE TO HAVE\nExperience in agency, consultancy, or enterprise SaaS organizations\nAWS, GCP, or Azure cloud certifications\nABOUT US\nBorn in 2001, Code and Theory is a digital-first creative agency that sits at the center of creativity and technology.
