About the role.

THE WORK

As an Cloud Architect in our Accenture Cloud First team, you will help enterprise clients design and evolve secure, scalable and cost-efficient cloud landscapes, supporting their digital transformation journeys. Your work will include:

• Designing end-to-end architectures for cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Landing Zones, governance and security models.

• Defining and implementing compute environments (autoscaling, load balancing, serverless solutions), Azure database services and CI/CD pipelines, with integration to existing on-premises services.

• Designing cloud-native networking (VNETs, peering, firewalls, container networking) and security & compliance controls (IAM, resource hierarchy, data security, cost management and billing).

• Implementing monitoring, logging, profiling and alerting solutions to ensure reliability and observability of client platforms.

• Preparing migration approaches and onboarding plans to Azure, including effort estimation, cost and resource calculations, and optimization scenarios.

• Partnering with DevOps and engineering teams to apply Infrastructure as Code and automation practices, improve delivery pipelines and support a mature DevOps culture.

• Leading or supporting incident, request, change and problem management activities, acting as a trusted technical advisor for client stakeholders.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities.
