You will become part of an international technology environment, collaborating with globally distributed teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions for one of the world’s largest insurance providers.\nRole Overview\nLead analysis and research to identify approaches and solutions for new insights with high level complexity.\nOversees the development of new reporting, visualization and analytics applications converting data into information used for business decision making.\nManage stakeholder expectations to ensure accuracy and consistency of solutions.\nProvide recommendations to address data and process gaps impactful to business requirements.\nCommunicate approaches with cross functional teams and leadership.\nLead/Coach junior/medior data engineers in the execution of their daily duties.\nPartner with business and tech teams to develop testing requirements, procedures and corrective actions to ensure data products meet quality standards.\nEstablish open data standards, metadata management policies and data classifications\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop models and prototypes to provide observations, identify trends and patterns with leadership to assess potential solutions to business requirements.\nDevelop statistical models, algorithms needed for reporting and analytics with high level complexity.\nPartner with data engineers to ensure compliance to standards and best practices.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to develop requirements and related designs.\nDevelop testing requirements, procedures and corrective actions.\nEnsure adherence to open data standards, metadata management policies and data classifications.\nComprehend and adhere to all data security policies and procedures.\nCreate data tools for analytics and data scientist team members.\nBuild analytical tools to provide actionable insights into key business KPIs, etc.\nWork with data engineers to optimize pipelines for scalability and data delivery.\nTechnical Competencies\n5+ years’ hands-on experience with a data science background.\nSome programming skills in Python and SQL.\nClear hands-on experience with database systems -
