This role will help coordinate capture activities, maintain opportunity information and action items, organize proposal development, and track requirements and deadlines to keep pursuits moving from qualification through final submission.\nThe ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable coordinating across business development, technical, contracts, finance, and executive teams. This is a hands-on role for someone who can bring structure to fast moving pursuits, proactively follow up with contributors, and ensure capture and proposal activities stay organized and on schedule.\nCore Responsibilities:\nCoordinate proposal activities from pre-solicitation release through final submission, including schedules, assignments, reviews, and deadlines.\n\nSupport research into government customers, acquisition pathways, contract vehicles, incumbent contractors, and upcoming requirements.\n\nReview solicitations and develop compliance matrices, proposal outlines, checklists, and submission requirements.\n\nMonitor and track government procurement sources and portals for opportunities, amendments, notices, and relevant customer activity.\n\nCoordinate inputs across growth, technical, contracts, pricing, finance, and external partners and translate their input into clear, compliant, and compelling written responses.\n\nDraft and contribute proposal content, including executive summaries, management, past performance, and other response sections.\n\nCoordinate capture and proposal meetings, track action items, and follow up with responsible owners.\n\nPerform desktop publishing including proposal formatting, editing, quality control, document assembly, and final submission.\n\nMaintain reusable proposal content, templates, past performance, resumes, and corporate documentation.\n\nSupport pipeline management, recurring reviews, leadership reporting, and analysis of business development activity.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in DoD proposal coordination, business development operations, government contracting, or a related role.\n\nStrong organizational and project management skills.\n\nExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines at once.\n\nStrong written communication, proofreading, and editing skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and proactively follow up with contributors.\n\nApplied experience with Shipley or similar proposal development methodologies.\n\nProficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.\n\nEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with FAR and non FAR based government acquisitions.\n\nExperience supporting DoD business development, capture, or proposal activities.\n\nExperience supporting technology, software, AI, defense, or engineering proposals.\n\nExperience with Slack\n\nExperience with Salesforce\n\nBenefits\nPay depends on experience, but we strive to be at the upper end of the salary range\n\nHealth care plan with 100% premium coverage, including medical, dental, and vision\n\n401k with 5% matching\n\nPaid Time Off (uncapped vacation, plus sick and public holidays)\n\nFlexible hybrid or remote work arrangement\n\nRelocation assistance for qualifying employees\n\nWage Transparency - The salary range for this role is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, individual proficiency, skills, experience, and location.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
