This role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality computer science curriculum for high school, with a strong emphasis on supporting teachers through effective instructional materials and resources.\nThis is an in-office position, which would require 5 days a week in the CodeHS Chicago office at 747 N LaSalle in River North.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild and maintain computer science curriculum for high school courses\nCollaborate with the curriculum team to design and launch new courses\nDevelop teacher-facing materials including lesson plans, handouts, and activities\nWrite and maintain alignments to standards\nCustomize curriculum for schools, districts, and states\nCreate instructional videos and supporting materials\nDevelop familiarity with the CodeHS course catalog\nQualifications\n3+ years of experience working in the K-12 education system\nExperience with 6-12 computer science education preferred\nBasic programming knowledge (e.g., Java, Python)\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively\nCreative, positive, and solution-oriented mindset\nLocation\nFull-time, in-office role in Chicago (River North).\nCompensation\nSalary range: $70,000-$85,000\nBenefits\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) with 4% match\nPaid parental leave\nGenerous PTO and holidays\nShort-term and long-term disability\nCTA monthly pass covered\nLunch provided 3 days per week\nCompany Values\nEncourage Teaching and Learning\nCodeHS is about providing excellent teaching and learning opportunities in computer science for\nstudents all over the world.
