This is an onsite role in Riyadh, open to all nationalities, requiring strong hands-on Appian experience within a banking or financial-services environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild complex process models: subprocesses, parallel flows, escalations, timers, exception handling and multi-level approvals\nImplement case management for banking operations (account opening, credit approvals, disputes, KYC refresh, complaints)\nModel business rules and decisions using expression rules and decision tables\nDesign task routing, SLAs, delegation and maker-checker controls aligned with segregation-of-duties policies\nOptimize process performance: memory usage, process archiving, node counts, activity chaining and smart-service choices\nImplement audit trails and process history required by compliance and internal audit\nWrite rule test cases and support QA and UAT defect resolution\nReview peers' process designs and mentor mid-level developers\nRequirements\nRequirements\n10+ years of total experience, including 6+ years of hands-on Appian development\nAppian Certified Senior Developer (mandatory)\nNotice period of 1 month, or immediate joiners preferred\nMust Haves\nExpert in Appian process modeling, process variables, smart services and process reports\nStrong expression rule, query and CDT/record type design skills\nExperience with Appian Process HQ / process mining or workflow analytics\nSolid SQL skills and understanding of transaction and concurrency handling\nUnderstanding of BPMN and banking operational workflows\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills\nNice to Have\nAppian Certified Lead Developer\nAppian RPA\nDocument generation and e-signature integrations\nExperience migrating legacy workflows to Appian\nBenefits\nWhy Join Us\nBuild the core banking workflows of a leading bank in KSA, from account opening to credit approvals, and own complex case management solutions end to end.\nDisclaimer\nThis job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the role.
