You’ll combine hands-on coding with technical leadership: driving architecture decisions, backlog grooming and planning with the Product Manager, making sure what we ship is reliable, scalable, and a pleasure for developers to use.\nAs the global leader in the technical interview space (4,000+ customers in 165+ countries) it is our goal as a Engineering team to build and scale the products that power millions of technical interviews and assessments worldwide.\nThis role is located in France and works standard CET / CEST hours, collaborating asynchronously with our distributed EMEA and US teams.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nDesign and develop new full-stack features (React / TypeScript on the frontend, Java, Node.js, or Ruby on the backend) in collaboration with the Product Manager and the designer.\n\nUse AI coding assistants and agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) as a core part of your workflow - to accelerate feature delivery, automate repetitive engineering tasks, and offload boilerplate so you can focus on design and review.\n\nContribute to architectural and technical design decisions within the team.\n\nWrite automated tests and ensure code quality through code reviews.\n\nDeploy and monitor your own features in production (GitLab, AWS, Kubernetes).\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s engineering practices.\n\nPartner with Product and other teams to scope, prioritise, and deliver impactful work.\n\nWhat you should bring\n6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior or lead-level ownership\n\nProficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Ruby, Node.js), a modern frontend framework (ideally React), and SQL.
