DevOps Engineer - Banking Platform

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join an enterprise digital platform project in the banking domain.

The platform involves multiple integrated systems and requires a strong focus on automation, deployment reliability, observability, scalability, and operational stability. You will work closely with engineering teams to build and maintain infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and operational processes across cloud and on-premises environments.

Work Location: Onsite at Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi

• Design, build, and maintain automation tools, deployment pipelines, and operational processes across AWS and on-premises systems.
• Support application deployment and infrastructure management across development, staging, UAT, and production environments.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for different application technologies.
• Implement GitOps-based deployment workflows and release strategies.
• Support containerized workloads on OpenShift, Kubernetes, or equivalent platforms.
• Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing to improve system reliability and troubleshooting.
• Support high availability, disaster recovery, load testing, and platform stability.
• Work closely with backend, frontend, data, and ML teams to support both batch and real-time workloads.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guidelines..

Yêu cầu

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and production environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release strategies.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift or other container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with GitOps tools and deployment practices such as ArgoCD, Helm Charts, or Kustomize.
• Experience with automation or configuration-management tools (Terraform/CDK), Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / EFK, or Splunk.
• Good understanding of Linux, networking, load balancing, cloud security, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multiple engineering teams.
• English communication skills sufficient for technical discussions and documentation.
• Strong awareness of information security, including customer data protection and compliance requirements in banking/securities environments.
• Ability to identify information security risks at the project level, especially when working with multiple vendors, integrated systems, and sensitive data.
• Demonstrates adherence to, and promotes team compliance with, processes related to information classification, incident reporting, and project document control.

Nice to Have

• Experience with message brokers or queueing systems such as Kafka, Redis, or IBM MQ.
• Familiarity with load balancers such as NGINX, HAProxy, or ELB.
• Exposure to distributed tracing tools such as OpenTelemetry or Zipkin.
• Experience supporting MLOps platforms, ML deployment pipelines, or data workloads.
• Experience with SQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases, Unix shell scripting, or PowerShell.
• Previous experience in banking, fintech, or large-scale enterprise projects.
• Familiarity with Temenos T24 / TAP, Weblogic, or IBM Cloud Paks.
• AWS certification or equivalent cloud certification.
