The role requires hands-on technical contribution, code quality ownership, mentoring junior engineers, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance digital banking solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.\n\n- Lead, mentor, and grow cross-functional engineering teams across multiple locations.\n\n- Provide technical and people leadership to Team Leads and senior engineers.\n\n- Develop scalable Microservices and REST APIs following industry best practices.\n\n- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.\n\n- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards, security, and quality guidelines.\n\n- Implement secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and API security.\n\n- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.\n\n- Collaborate with UI (ReactJS/Flutter), QA, DevOps, Product, and Architecture teams.\n\n- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes.\n\n- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance during development.\n\n- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.\n\n- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and engineering best practices.\n\nTechnical Skills:\n\n1.
