Role Overview :
As a Network Engineer L2, you will serve as a critical technical anchor for our enterprise infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of complex routing, switching, and security environments. You will work closely with cross-functional IT teams, global stakeholders, and external vendors to maintain high availability and performance across our Hyderabad and Pune hubs. By proactively managing network health and resolving intricate technical bottlenecks, you will directly influence the reliability of our digital services, ensuring that our internal users and external clients experience uninterrupted connectivity and robust data security.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and optimize enterprise-wide routing and switching protocols to ensure high-speed data transmission and network stability for all business units.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of complex network incidents, minimizing downtime and maintaining service level agreements for critical business applications.
- Implement and maintain network security policies, including firewall configurations and VPN management, to protect organizational assets from evolving cyber threats.
- Deploy and monitor WLAN infrastructure to provide reliable, high-performance wireless connectivity for office environments.
- Utilize advanced network monitoring tools to perform proactive capacity planning and identify potential performance degradation before it impacts end-users.
- Drive operational efficiency by integrating automation scripts and workflows to streamline repetitive network administration tasks.
- Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to design and execute network upgrades, ensuring alignment with long-term infrastructure scalability goals.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex TCP/IP environments, with a deep understanding of routing protocols and switching architectures in large-scale enterprise networks.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot multi-vendor network environments, utilizing analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose and rectify intermittent connectivity issues.
- Strong proficiency in network security administration, with the ability to configure and manage firewalls and security appliances to meet stringent compliance standards.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard network monitoring tools to maintain visibility into network health and traffic patterns.
- Practical knowledge of automation frameworks, including Automation Anywhere, to reduce manual intervention in network configuration and management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and management.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA and CCNP are highly preferred, reflecting a commitment to maintaining high standards of technical competency.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating self-discipline and the capacity to coordinate effectively with distributed teams across Hyderabad and Pune.
