We are looking for a professional who has personally handled SAN and LUN provisioning, multipathing, storage performance issues, and end-to-end backup and restore, with a strong focus on automation.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\nLinux Administration : \n\n- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).\n\n- Perform OS installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and hardening activities.\n\n- Manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, services, kernel parameters, and performance tuning.\n\n- Troubleshoot system issues related to CPU, memory, storage, networking, and application performance.\n\n- Troubleshoot cross-domain issues spanning Linux, storage, virtualization, network, and application dependencies.\n\n- Manage packages and repositories using tooling like Satellite, Spacewalk, or YUM/DNF/APT.\n\nAutomation & Scripting : \n\n- Drive automation using Shell/Bash scripting and Ansible for configuration management, patching, and operational tasks.\n\n- Build and maintain Ansible playbooks/roles for provisioning and hardening.\n\n- Python scripting is a desirable addition for extending automation capabilities.\n\n- Proactively use AI-assisted tools for scripting, troubleshooting, and log analysis.\n\nStorage Administration : \n\n- Manage and support enterprise SAN/NAS storage platforms.\n\n- Provision storage, create and manage LUNs, storage pools, RAID groups, volumes, and snapshots.\n\n- Monitor storage capacity, utilization, performance, and availability.\n\n- Troubleshoot storage connectivity issues involving Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, multipathing, and zoning.\n\nBackup & Recovery : \n\n- Administer enterprise backup solutions such as Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, or Veeam.\n\n- Perform backup monitoring, restoration requests, disaster recovery validations, and troubleshooting.\n\nSecurity & Compliance : \n\n- Own the end-to-end patching lifecycle and drive vulnerability remediation.\n\n- Implement and maintain security hardening baselines (e.g., CIS benchmarks) across Linux systems.\n\nIncident & Operations Support : \n\n- Act as Shift Lead for Linux/Storage operations.\n\n- Lead complex incident triage, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution activities.\n\n- Participate in on-call support and rotational shift schedules.\n\nRequired Skills : \n\n- Linux : RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, performance tuning, filesystem management (XFS, EXT4, LVM).\n\n- Automation : Shell/Bash scripting, Ansible, Git, Python (desirable).\n\n- Storage : SAN & NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, EMC Dell, NetApp, Hitachi, IBM, or Pure Storage.\n\n- Backup : Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, or Veeam.\n\n- Security : Patching, vulnerability remediation,
