Overview We are currently looking for a junior support engineer to assist B2B clients who buy VoIP termination/origination (DID and outbound SIP) for call centers, business PBXs and resellers. On-the-job training is provided. skills Responsibilities Perform pre-sales engineering and provisioning tasks Work closely with network operations and network monitoring teams Work directly with client IT teams via email and phone to troubleshoot equipment Work with Tier1 suppliers to open and resolve tickets and perform testing Pro-actively suggest and implement system and process improvements Assist clients with remote troubleshooting of their SIP-based PBXs’ Go down to any level, including front line, to troubleshoot specific VoIP issues No roles, no escalations. Sometimes you support as front-line CSR. At other times you will be assisting the new install, together with the Sales Engineer overseeing the project. All support are being done via phone and email only, from the Fargo office. Technical writing to assist with blog posts and social media Must be able to work flexible hours on occasion.
